Your Health Information Rights
You have the right to inspect and obtain a copy of your health records, request amendments to your health information, receive an accounting of disclosures, and request restrictions on certain uses of your information.
You also have the right to request confidential communications and to file a complaint if you believe your privacy rights have been violated.
How We Protect Your Information
DeenFuel Health implements comprehensive security measures to protect your Protected Health Information (PHI), including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, audit logging, and regular security assessments.
All staff members receive HIPAA training and are bound by strict confidentiality requirements. Our technology infrastructure meets or exceeds HIPAA security standards.
How We Use and Disclose PHI
We may use and disclose your PHI for treatment purposes, including sharing information with your prescribing provider and pharmacy. We may also use your information for payment processing and healthcare operations such as quality improvement.
We will not use or disclose your PHI for marketing purposes or sell your information without your explicit written authorization.
Breach Notification
In the event of a breach of unsecured Protected Health Information, DeenFuel Health will notify affected individuals, the Department of Health and Human Services, and where applicable, the media, in accordance with HIPAA breach notification requirements.
